Don't want your child vaccinated but still want them to go to school? Most states allow for vaccine exemptions for religious reasons and some also for philosophical reasons or personal beliefs.
Since I got so many questions from residents of California, Texas and Michigan, I focused on those states, but you can find links to the laws for any state below.

Thanks for posting this, Margaret. We knew this would happen, it was just a matter of time!! WE CANNOT TRUST OUR CHILDREN TO THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM!!! They do MANY things behind the parent's backs, this is just one of them!!

Due to health problems this young boy has, his parents specifically told the school NOT to vaccinate but the school went on and sprayed the Medimunne nasal spray up his nose.

The schools do ALOT of things without the parent's permission/consent. They are not to be trusted.

Even if you opt out or decline, I still would not trust the schools. If they vaccinate your child(ren) by "mistake", the damage is already done. There is no reverse or do over. The best thing to do is to work toward taking them out of the government schools, permanently!!!
It is the safest thing for them in this day and age.

Joan - Yes - they can, but they can't penalize you if your decline their services; per se... Best thing to do is reserach the health laws within your state, and call the local school board and check if they have received a directive from the state Health Director?
