Where Freedom Fighters Meet

Peaceful Political Status of an American

To make it abundantly clear about my beliefs about a political stance I am neither Democratic or Republican, I am not a Leftist nor I am a Right wing man, I certainly am not an extremist on either side. I do not condone violence in any fashion as my core belief is that it is wrong.

There are those out there who may misconstrue the meaning inside my posts so they may label me something I am not. If that be the case then there is something amiss inside their thought process as nothing I write, think or speak has ever been to further the cause of hate, violence, racism or oppression. Yes, I have very strong opinions about how things are unfolding inside our country, the world and our government yet know that simply because I hold these opinions does not make me condone actions which are not peaceful. In fact they propel me to be a better man for acting as those I dislike or oppose would only lower me to a level I wish not to go. Instead I choose to learn my lessons from history and other peoples' mistakes, taking matters to heart and allowing them to be completely understood before making a decision about my thoughts, feelings and beliefs. Using ones mind instead of ones fists has always brought me a positive solution.

In my almost forty years of life, I have been in one fight where I stood my ground and retaliated. Every other time I was confronted by violence I either talked my way out, took the punches and walked away or simply decided to run away as I saw no benefit from physical confrontation. I admit today that acting this way as a young boy/teenager did not do well for my status with the ladies, but it certainly made me a stronger person internally.

Holding true to peaceful solutions to any problem is always the best course of action as it provides us with the ability to grow, to change, to let life flourish into what it was meant to be. While contradictory to peace is violence which never amounts to much more than pain, suffering, grief and sorrow. Think back to all of history's wars, see how many good people died because some leader could not be amicable with another leader. Look at how some land from our past decided they wanted what another land had, be it resources, land itself, or people to be slaves. Every single time leaders could not come to some peaceful agreement they went to war which always resulted in needless loss of life.

Learn from history I say, do not follow in the footsteps of Stalin, Hitler or any of the past leaders, pave your own path of peace and serenity for the benefit of all mankind. Be you a Leftist, Right winger, Democrat, Republican or any other form of political stance know inside yourselves that wars, violence and hate is not the answer to your troubles. Leave other countries alone, for they must learn to accept peace at their own pace. Nothing we can do will change their views or beliefs, our soldiers die and kill countless people in the name of peace and freedom yet are they truly freeing anyone, or are they causing irreparable damage to freedom by forcing a view/ideal upon those who neither asked or wanted it.

Our media is under orders not to discuss the war in Iraq so as the American people will not be outraged by the number of bodies piling up, so we will not learn about the tons of depleted uranium shells used there which is destroying the soil and landscape. the media blackout is done in the name of peace and democracy for the good of the American people. I say hogwash! they say, if you cannot openly lie about the situation make it so they cannot learn about the sitution by not speaking about it.

It is time to rid ourselves of this distasteful jacket we wear called corporate government and bring ourselves to own a peaceful government where we do not fight wars on the basis of bringing peace to a land we do not own. We should learn to talk peace not fight peace for terrorism is not what you watch on television, it is not simple and clean cut, it is complex and difficult to comprehend, it must be understood fully meaning that the reason behind someones actions which causes them to act violently must be grasped before any sense can be spoken. Once this is understood completely I believe a peaceful talk can be accomplished with a goal of a peaceful solution.

I challenge anyone, anywhere to speak to me about your problems, your fears, your hatred toward a person, issue or anything and I bet we can come to a peaceful solution by taking the time to learn, share, and grow together. It takes thousand or more to fight a war, it only takes two to discuss the problem and solve it.
